Please include your Shopify store domain and a short description of the issue. Do not send passwords, private API credentials, database credentials, payment card information, or other secrets by email.
Helpful information to include
- Your
your-store.myshopify.comstore domain. - What you were trying to do when the issue occurred.
- The discount percentage and minimum margin settings involved, if relevant.
- A screenshot of the PMG screen, provided it does not contain sensitive credentials.
- The exact error message, if one appeared.
Common checks
Missing cost
If a variant shows “Missing cost,” add or verify the product variant’s cost information in Shopify. PMG excludes variants whose margin cannot be verified.
At Risk or Negative Margin
These statuses mean the proposed discount would move the variant below your selected margin floor or create a negative margin. Change the discount percentage, margin floor, price, or cost data as appropriate before creating the promotion.
Billing or subscription questions
Promotion Margin Guard subscriptions are approved and billed through Shopify App Pricing. Billing information shown during subscription approval is controlled by Shopify.
